i have a 96 2.8 with 60k or so miles on it, and every once in a while, the car stalls when sitting at red lights. it idles fine, but then the rpm dips and sometimes at that point it stalls. starts right back up with no problems. i don't even know where to begin with that. i was thinking to change the plugs, would that help it?

 

Could be a bad engine coolant temp sensor. Usually starting/stalling problems are caused by a bad ects. First thing to do though would be to get your ecu scanned for fault codes. Autozone does it for free last i heard.
