This is a decent guide here for the water pump. I HIGHLY suggest you change the timing belt also when doing the water pump. Its something that should be done at 90k miles and can cause up to $3000 damage if breaks.

I got the kit for my A4 here that has both the timing belt, water pump and more here http://www.dieselgeek.com/

Good luck!

Actually most people on the forums recommend 60-70k miles for timing belt/water pump/tensioner change. I've seen lots of failures at these mileages.

70k for timing belt/tensioner/idler roller(s) but if changing the pump its common sense to do the others it will save money in the long run

Takes about5-8 hours for the tbelt and everything else mentioned above depending on your skill.. My advice would be to not **** it up.
