You mean 16539 P0155 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit - Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1) A

You need to replace your oxygen sensor on the passenger side pre catalytic converter.

the heater in that o2 sensor is not operating, you need to replace the o2 sensor. jest says it is pass side pre cat, i can tell you its definitly pre-cat but i would consult a bently manual to make sure the passanger side is bank 2. i would assume it is, but no positive, it is v6 correct?

What car, year, engine do you have?

No such code for A4 B5 gasoline engines.

What are you using to read your codes?

sorry for the late reply, had to sleep, it is a 2003 3.0. it is out of warranty unless that counts as a smog device then I think it would be 80,000 mile warranty, car 50,350. is it safe to drive for a couple of days until I get the sensor, and how hard is it to put it in, don't want to go to the dealer, and I am reading it with a actron scanner. thanks guys for the help.

Car should be OK to drive. oxygen sensor may qualify as emissions related. If you have the original books with the car, it may list what is covered.

do you need any special tools to take out the sensor, btw the dealer told me it would cost about 550 and would take 1-2 hours. F*** that
