Default cold start problem

i have a slight problem.... in the mornings when i wake up 2 leave for work or whatever, i go 2 start my car, it turns over, but stalls almost immediately.... so i go 2 start i again and i have 2 give it gas so it stays running, i rev it up to like 3500 rpms and then it will stay running... any ideas as 2 what this could be? fuel filter? or a bad plug? CEL is on... i had it scanned, dont remember the code number, but it was something like low input voltage to MAF.... any direction you guys might be able 2 point me in would be great

If you had a maf code, its likely a bad maf sensor. What you are describing are typical bad maf symptoms. A bad ECTS also can cause those symptoms and trigger a maf/02 sensor code. I dont think a bad 02 sensor would cause such harsh symptoms though. Maybe start with replacing the ects since its a $6 part and has been revised anyway. If it still happens the do the maf. I have a MAF sensor for a 2000 if you end up needing one. I replaced mine and then found out that my old one wasnt bad. Ill sell it for cheap too. PM me if you are interested.

16486 P0102 MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR CIRCUIT LOW INPUT

This will cause bad drivability with stalling. You might try a throttle body adjustment to keep car from stalling. You'll still need to replace the bad part.
