Default CONNECTING LINK (SWAY BAR LINK)

you know the thing that looks like a C clamp. that connects the sway bar.

the question is, should there be any play?
i noticed that my front end started to have some play...
i did not know if i broke somthing or busted a strut..
i have intrex lowering springs, with kyb struts..now i know kyb is not the best, and from what i understand, if i had the springs put in with stock struts, i may bust them...

so i looked at everything and the only thing i could find out of place
was the connecting link on the pass side had alot of play, almost none on the driver side.....
i tried it with the car up and on the ground....the result the same..

what do you think (beside i need better struts)?
thanks in advance

If the bolts are tight the links shouldn't have any play.

that was what i was thinking.

do you think that would make the front end a bit lose?

Yeah, it will. If you have an endlink, front or rear thats loose it can really effect handling. If the link has play, the sway bar isn't doing its job effectively.
