Venting...
So yesterday I went to do an oil change (no this is not a "what type of oil should I use" post). I rushed home from work to try to get it done in the light as I don't have any power in my so called apartment "garage". I get all ready, jack the car up, and realize you have to take the *#(*&@ engine guard off to get a the plug. Oh well. I pull it all apart and start draining the oil- all is good.
I look up while under the car and find a full 6" sanding disk wedged in the engine bay. Well, that confirms it. After I bought the car I noticed one spot on the rear quarter where the paint was dull. I've also noticed that the bumper seems to be a slightly different shade of red. So not only did Audi not tell me that they repainted parts of my car, but they did a shitty job and put the OK stamp on it (its certified/inspected- by Audi not just the dealer)
When putting it all back together I realized that there were about 5 metal/platic "screws" to hold the plastic undertray that whoever was in there last (the dealer) didn't put back in. And further, the two plastic screws holding the front wheel, front-end small mudflap in won't even fit if I had the screws! Someones been in it...
I guess it doesn't really matter that much, but it bothers me that they didn't tell me it had been re-painted.
Now it will be interesting to match my lowers to the panels when I paint them...

RE: Venting...
Yea, that really sucks, for how much they charge for all their stuff, and how much hype they put behind their certifications and inspections, you would think they could atleast do it RIGHT. Hopefully you try to get them to do something about it.

RE: Venting...
I'm going to try to go there today- but what am I going to ask for? Yeah the missing screws, but its not like they will repaint my car- which is really the only way to solve that problem. Oh yeah, when I had my cd changer replaced they said they would send me my cd's which were in it... months later I'm still waiting on that to happen.
Ha, maybe I'll get a 06 s4 for free
