I have a 2001 2.0 petrol, which is using alot of oil, which I know Audis are designed to do but not as much as I am using.
Also once engine reaches temperature seems to judder and buck if ya like when trying to drive at slow speeds? Feels a bit like a miss fire but I know this is not the case. And every now and again will stall whilst slowing to a stop?
There are no codes showing on the ECU!!!!!!
No one seems to be able to come up with an idea of what it may be, apart from possibly the rings have gone which could turn out to be expensive, so I am considering replacing the engine with a 1.8T or 2.0T, which is something I have wanted to do for a while.
If I go down this road of replacing engine, what engine and from which car should I get that will be a straight swap and connect straight up to my gearbox etc.
Any suggestions and help will be much apprieciated.
