how do you remove vents?

Default how do you remove vents?
Whats the easiest way to remove the center vent? I tried butter knives but that didn't help. Any tips will be appreciated!

4x 8mm bolts first 2 are behind the upper vents ( they just clip out ) second 2 are behind the heater controls ( pull the rotating dials off and you will see 2 screws to remove the cover ) the bolts are behind that

lol that may be the way on your crazy european cars but on ours all you gotta do it pull on them man, they pop right out.... it will come and its not gunna break just give it a good yank
ORIGINAL: avant80@2.6

oh crap I was thinking removing the full center bit as I did it today on my car to sort the blowers out but didn't notice the ( center vent only removal ) I know im tired lol

to remove the center vent only pry it out from the bottom of the vent it will easily pop out without damage

haha alright cool. Thanks guys. I was afraid i would break the vent. I'll give it a shot when i get home.

Wow you've got to be kidding me. That was SO easy! All you need is a metal hanger bent to fit around one of the bars and pull.
