I have a super weird issue. My remote to my 2005 A4 Convertible stopped working so I replaced the battery and tried to program it. That didn't work. I tried several ways, but in addition my Key in the lock on the outside of the car doesn't lock or unlock the car. I tried with my spare remote, the normal one I always use and the valet key would not lock or unlock the car from the outside, so can anyone please help me understand why my key on the outside won't look or unlock my door. Everything on the door works fine including the windows, lights and locking it from the inside. I've never seen anything like this before so now I don't have any remotes that work and my 3 keys I have won't lock or unlock the car from the outside.
