Losing my mind! audi B7 a4 2.0T CEL WILL NOT GO AWAY! HELP G312?
CEL: right rear center console temperature sensor (g312)
(I dont have a rear console that i know of)
Does anybody know what this means? No one can figure it out...
Dealer has no idea, wants to charge me up the @#@$@ to run tests,
local mechanic said that code should not throw a CEL.
Seems like when i clear the code, all is good for the day but when i turn the car off and turn it back on, its back.
ANYone? Im really all out of ideas.

Not heard of this before. Rear console might be the rear (back) of the console between the driver and passenger seat. Did Audi confirm they knew what this part is? If not to expensive then replace it and see if that clears your trouble. Sorry, not mch help beyond that.

they couldn't tell me anything, they said they would have to run more diagnostics and i have to pay 140 an hour until they figure it out.
does anyon think it might be the air temperature sensor in the intake manifold?
or could it be this part? is so does anyone know where this thing is?

SO messing with things some more, I ran a readiness test and it said pass on everything except for
EGR System fail
Evap system Fail
Could this possible have something to do with it? Ive alos noticed that if i clear the code and drive it does not turn back on untill i have to turn off the car and start it back up. Doesnt matter how many miles.
