Low mileage B7 or High Mileage B8
Hello All!
I've admired Audi A4s for years and will be purchasing my first one very soon.
I have been shopping mainly for a 2008 Audi A4 2.0T B7, but recently came across a 2009 Audi A4 2.0T B8 with higher miles at about the same price.
My question is, if the price is the same, the condition of both cars is the same and both have clear history records which vehicle would be a better buy?
2008 B7 Audi A4 2.0T with Low 30k miles
OR
2009 B8 Audi A4 2.0T with High 50k miles
Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Z

all other things being equal like color, transmission, options, etc., id go with the B8. i have not driven either of them, but the B8 just looks so much better to me. if i wasn't so cheap, i would have bought one myself, instead i bought a B5 S4

Well it would depend on what each one has. The B8 is the newer model. The 07/08 B7's were pretty well matured. I remember reading the first B8 2.0T's had some type of problem. What, I do not remember. I would check on the warranty etc. I personally like the B7. I drove a 2010 B8 (1.8TFSI 160hp) and it was ok. It just feels like the B8 is sooo much bigger (like a A6). I guess it all boils down to what each one has, and the warranty. Also how each drives, and option's. 50tmls is not that much for a well maintained Audi!
