I have a 99 Audi A4 1.8T Body with a blown engine (AEB) and a 2002 Audi A4 wrecked body with a good engine. I believe the engine is a (AWB) but I am sure most of you guys will know better than me. Anyone have a clue if the newer engine will bolt up to the older engine bay/transmission and also what modifications might need to be made. Thanks guys i appreciate it!

I've been looking for chips and such for the B6 3.0 V6, can't find anything.
can anyone help with websites and stuff?

thanks in advance,
& thanks for the write up, even though it doesn't help me much with my car, it taught me a lot.

hey bud im not the most riliable sorse but from when i was dooing my moter i found that "2000-2002" the moters are the same becides for the throtal body injectors and thats bout it. you wont have to change you injectors if your car is chiped but the T/B you have to change and if you want to go a step further witch would be bad *** youse your old AEB head on the new block "onley if the head is not damaged" because the AEB head is a big port head. and a big porthead= more power.

Default ECU chip

I have an 01 A4 2.8 quattro. I am interested in putting a chip in it. What chip should I get? What DV should I get if any? How much will this run me with labor? How much hp and ft/lb of torque should I expect to get? Thanks.

You may want to add ignition coil failure to the common problems for the 1.8t.
