Default Painting Calipers

I just bought my first car, a 2001 Ocean Blue A4. One of my first modifications will be painting my brake calipers. So, I'm wondering, what color will look best? Any pics? I'm thinking a darker shade of yellow would really give it some sweet contrast. Or maybe the gold/copper that comes with the 350z's. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I like the look of red calipers on just about any color car. I did mine on my A4 and got the four rings hi-temp stick on emblems off ebay and they look great, almost factory looking.. and 40,000 miles later they still look like new. My $.02.

My question is this.....

What happens when someone's lease is up and they have painted calipers?
Is there any way to return them to original?
Does the dealership even care?

p.s. I like the job you did, Sandy!

If the car is leased, I wouldn't recommend doing it. The stealership won't like that. I would definitely do it if I owned the car.

The dealership is going to have to kiss my *** in the short-term.....

Hopefully this does not result in me having to kiss THEIRS in the long-term.

Anyone else have any feedback about leased caliper painting?

this is what i think the norm should be about painting calipers.

if you are just painting your normal calipers, they should be BLACK

If you are getting a BBK like stoptech brakes, then they should be RED, and in some cases yellow.

the g2 paint kit is only 30 bucks so you could paint them yellow, blue, red or a lot do black and silver.... you an always repaint them before your lease ends and just do it in silver and they would never notice

I would defiantly agree that red calipers always look awesome, no matter what color your car is. Only problem is that my dads Envoy already has red calipers. So I’d like mine to stick out a little bit. Me likes mucho variety in my life
