Hi!

I finally got my A4 for the first time and been driving it for the past 2 days!...

I previesly had a turbo max and a stock max as well... They both seemed to go faster at take off compared to my new 2.8 2001.

Someone just told me that some models had a cable but my model has a electronic sensor that accelerates for me. I think that this might be the problem.

Is there anyway to convert it back to cable?
or can someone recomend performance upgrades that will make my audi faster at take off cause i had LAGGING!!!! Im seriously considering selling the car if i cant make it go faster..

Now the max i had stock had the same 190hp as the audi i have and that max will blow the **** out of this audi...

any help much appericated!

and the cable/electronic sensor you are talking about is dbc and dbw. i believe that dbc was discontinued in '00 or 01'.

 

intake ... exhaust ... and if u wanna pay alot ... internals .. valves heads and all that stuff

 

exhaust mani ... chip does not much at all .... gut the cat

 

? I swear, u 2.8ers are sad. If i had a 2.8, it would be fully hooked up, there alot u can do to them. The first thing would be save for a year and get a used g2, then exhaust and intake, and have over 300hp.

 

a k&n drop in will help, an dso will a chip, exhuast and intake for throttle response and they all will help fix the flat spot between 3000 and 4000 RPM.

Audiboy im saving now its only a matter of time. Havent seen many used g2 around. U know of any?
