Welp, sure enough - unplugged my ABS module and the tach is working and oil pressure light cleared!. Of course the ABS and brake lights are still on.

So, has anyone ever figured out what the typical failure mechanism is on the ABS module (bad solder joints, etc). I have reasonable skills when it comes to this type of work. Does anyone know if the module will come apart fairly easily for access to any PCB's inside?
