a4 2.0 2011..$2600 for a turbo at 86,000 miles! Can someone please tell me if this is normal mileage for this to happen?? The dealer told me I should think about trading in my car in a few months!!! I thought audis were supposed to last! What else needs replacing soon besides timing belt??

 

I have 181k on my 2008 and the turbo is "okay". By that I mean it is working fine, but I am starting to burn some oil. Hope to get another 50k out of it before rebuilding/replacing. You might want to take it for a second opinion. Dealer thinks you should trade it because they think they can steal it from you and sell you another car.

 

What is the evidence saying the turbo failed?
