I have a 1998 A4 Quattro 1.8T and the turn signals and the parking flashers aren't working. I checked and replaced all the fuses. It isn't the bulbs b/c when I use a turn signal or put the flashers on, nothing comes up at all on the dash (the turn signal lights) and also of course the turn signals don't work on the outside either. They were working and one day they all just stopped working altogether.

Please let me know if any of you all know what the problem could be and what I should check.

Hazard switch controls these things. Check to make sure it is hooked up. Might need a new one.

 

where is this hazard switch located at? and how do i check it?

 

It's gotta be the hazard switch. You know the red triangle in the middle of the dash! All the relays are inside that thing. Time for a new one.

 

thanks for the help! i simply pulled out the hazard switch, dusted it off and put it back in and it works like a charm now!
