Default lean questions

So I have been running lean for.... i dunno seems like forever. I've cleaned my maf twice, replaced it, and I checked all my hoses when I did my timing belt this last weekend and I can't figure out wth is going on. When I was putting in my boost gauge I noticed that my fuel pressure regulator hose pretty much crumbled in my hand..... is it possible that my problem isn't excess air getting in after the maf but infact not enough fuel getting into the engine? I'd love to vag my car and get some more details but I can't get the darn software to recognize my car. Well thats not true, I can get it to recognize the radio and the instrument cluster, but thats it.

any thoughts?

Sounds like you may have found the problem. change all the vacume hoses that look like that one did, your car should run alot better.

instead of changing the fpr, get a gauge first. it is cheaper and allow you to see the fuel psi. maybe fpr is just fine so no need to spend money on something already works fine.
