Using Audi A4 2009 Mags on A4 2006?
Hey Guys,
I'm looking to buy new wheels and I recently found a guy on Craigslist selling this set for $400 total.
I'm led to believe that these wheels are indeed OEM A4 2009 mags. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if these would fit on my 2006 A4 2.0T. I called the dealership and they told me that the caliper design has changed from 2008 onwards, so they can't guarantee anything. I figured someone here had some experience with a similar issue and could point me in the right direction.
Thanks!

The center hub hole is bigger on an '09 than '06, and the brakes are different as well. Sorry but not sure on the bolt pattern. Seems to me I recall the new style A4 having a different offset to the wheels as well. MAYBE if you could get some centering rings the right size, they MIGHT fit. Without the center fitting correctly, I wouldn't recommend using them. If the center is too big, all the weight is on the lug bolts vs the bolts only holding the wheel to the hub,,,,,,,,,if that makes any sense.
My suggestion (and this is only my opinion), find wheels off the correct year(s) and save yourself grief.
