Why's my oil overheating? 2.8 30v
Oil tempis going to the end of the gauge, (ie. over 180 celsius) after 10 mins of driving. I originally suspected sensor but upon opening the oil cap a wisp of smoke appears. oil is def gettin hot.
Where is the oil cooler and do I need to top it up or anything?
Thanks guys

RE: Why's my oil overheating? 2.8 30v
Cheers for all your help guys,
blackhawk, yeah its celsius as I said, sorry I hate metric to but the EU runs this country now our days!
SAudi- coolant is fine, stays middle of gauge when in traffic and cools when driving, never overheats.
David9999- Is that right? I took smoke to be a bad sign but it is only a small amount and clears in a couple of mins. Maybe it is just a sensor?
Thanks for all your help guys and any more comments and ideas welcome
