5 Series Dilemma
Does anyone know why you cannot order and A5 Cabriolet or an S5 Cabriolet with a manual transmission while you can order a A5 or an S5 coupe with one? Does this make any sense to anyone out there?

They probably do it to keep costs down. Does the Cabriolet have more than 6 speeds? I don't think they make a 7 or 8 speed manual shifter. Take the Tiptronic, it has some of the glory of a manual shifter.
The 2.0 L Turbo is well paired for a Tiptronic with 8 speeds, but overpriced. Hell Chrysler and Subaru give it to you for cheap. I drove a Q5 with this pairing and it was an eye-opener. I did think it had the 3.2L engine, for the first trip until I looked @ the logo. So don't worry. All will be good.
I wish they put paddles on the steering wheel for shifting, as on the A3.
