So my husband and I are thinking about buying this 96 Audi wagon.. It is very clean & looks very nice.. The thing is it has 211K miles on it.. The guy is only asking for 1499.. However I know nothing about Audis'.. I have tried googling the lifespan on an Audi engine with no luck, and the guy who is selling it doesn't know too much about it..
Any ideas?

 

It all depends on how it was used, abused, and serviced. IMO without a major overhaul, at 200+ k the engine is coming near the end.
