2.8 thermostat change

02 - thinking about it I agree.
Today is the timing belt on a Nissan Pulsar my step-daughter just got. It has 100k on the belt and the previous owner suggested changing it sooner than later. The car came with every receipt spent on it - and a workshop manual that has been certainly used.
Next weekend - The Audi !! Sounds like a movie title - we'll see if it's an adventure movie - or a horror movie.

I did my timing/thermostat/waterpump service. used a combination of DiY walkthroughs that i found online. I did have some difficulty but was able to successfully complete the job in about 20 hrs, using lots of mental breaks and taking some ingenuity steps to compensate for whatever tools I didn't have. I also had more than one, put everything back and look down and see some leftover parts that i forgot to reinstall causing me to have to dig back in.
I was successful. I am by no means a mechanic, but I can turn a wrench and went in without fear. it isn't technically complex, there is just a lot of steps just to get to where you need to be
