Default 2000 Audi A6 Quattro 2.7 turbo starting trouble

Hi Guys,

I am having issues with my 2000 Audi A6 Quattro Avant 2.7L turbo. it shows misfire and i feel vibrations while driving at times on low speed which indicates that coils might be bad. yesterday it did not started. Battery is cranking good but engine is not coming up. I tried again and started pushing gas while starting and it worked. Engine started. One of my friend suggested that it could be bad spark plugs. i am thinking of changing the spark plugs and coils. where can i get cheap coils and spark plugs for this vehicle. I read somewhere on this forum that regular ones might not work due to turbo engine.
Also any other suggestion as what could be the issue.

Thanks,

Somebody please advise. I tried starting the engine yesterday twice and it started fine. outside temperature was 0 degree centigrade yesterday. is it related to cold temperature?

Have you tried moving the coil packs around to see if the misfire stays at the cylinder or follows the coil pack? This will tell you if it is spark plugs or coil packs.
