98 C5 2.8 Quattro. key fob only unlocks drivers door
Hi every1!
Im new to this so thanks for havin me!
Ive got a 1998 A6 2.8 Quattro, when i got it it had the central lock control unit swimming in water issue that seems to be a recurring issue on here!!! ive fixed that (replaced the c/unit and a section of loom as it was left for some time by the previous owner who had no cash to fix it) and i got a whole bunch of stuff working again ie: windows, interior lights, remote, alarm and immobiliser, and other time & control functions. EXCEPT, the remote only unlocks the drivers door and nuthin else, at all. the other doors lock and unlock manually, with all the doors locked i get a single flash feedback from the alarm, if i leave a door unlocked i dont get the flash. I am aware that the drivers door lock sends a lock/unlock signal to the others and im thinkin this could be faulty or the wiring joining the drivers door to the body could be chaffed. has anyone out there experienced this kinda fault or does anyone have any other clues? I welcome and appriciate your thoughts
cheers
