Default A6 subframe bolts stripped

Hi,

The three bolts that hold the rear passenger side of the sub frame are not tightening fully. Is there an easy way to resolve, such as tap the hole to a bigger size? Or does it need something more drastic than that?

cheers
Perry

Cheers rick,

A good call!! why didn't I think of that, DOH!!

Anyway, new bolts purchased from Audi. Fitted, and tightened up a treat.

However, I've still got the original problem which I thought this would cure. A knocking in the left front "corner" somewhere when I go over uneven road. I have replaced all suspension arms including TREs. I am now thinking shocks and corresponding rubber mounts.

Any ideas?
