I have a 2000 A6 w/2.7T engine. The local Audi dealer was unwilling to help me and told me to call Advance or another auto parts place and they would have the correct bakes and rotors listed for my car. I guess buying an oil filter there didn't justify their time in looking up the correct part number for me. Actually rude to me. I knew that I had 4 pads with 321mm rotors but Advance didn't have any listing for different hat sizes, so I ordered from them and gave the parts to my mechanic. Back rotors and pads were perfect, front pads were correct, but rotors were too deep as they rubbed on the splash shields. So my mechanic special ordered another pair of rotors by a different manufacturer, which Advance got in overnight. Same hat depth. Does anybody know the correct part number for the front rotors with the short hat depth? That way we can order them by cross referencing the part number on the Net, I guess.
