Hey guys/gals

This is my first post and i'm glad to be back in the Audi community. I bought an 2007 a6 last weekend and it came with the advanced key options. I can unlock my doors and trunk just fine but the engine start button doesnt work. It goes to the first stage when first pressed (like the key is in the on position) but when i press it again (to start the engine) nothing happens. I can turn the engine off with the other button just fine. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

 

Are you depressing the brake pedal before attempting to start the car?
