Default goin for the timing belt job next week

well since I located the dealer, and got my 4digit code for stereo,
I asked the service rep for the record, they told me needs to have timing belt change since it's not on record.
and they replace water pump etc all for 1350. I think that's pretty good for price around here. so I setup the appointment next week thurs.

audi of huntington is pretty nice, impressed actually. they told me about timing belt before I even asked.
too bad they didn't have radio code on file...

1350 is dirt cheap anywhere in the country, make sure they do the thermostat when they are in there too, not all dealers will sell that so they can nail you for it twice.

There is a write up on here if you search and it is a really simple job. It only cost me 300 dollars in parts for timing belt, water pump, serp. belt, serp. belt tensioner, oem coolant, and thermostat.... just somthing to look into. If you are trying to save money.

got mine done, actually the whole service, so all filters, and plugs and all... for 1500 including a khum9 SPT in 19. So your price is about right. I have seen shops charge as much as 2k for the 75k miles service

OUCH
I wish I would have seen this post before doing my car.
I just paid about 1800 USD for it and after other misc items, the final tab was close to the 3k

I'm gonna have them do the timing belt and water pump etc that is like one package deal.
1350 for everything included is not bad price.
so anything else Ican pretty much do so not worrying about paying $ for labor. I just need to make space to put the A6 in since my tahoe is being ready to drop more for air bag setup redone. etc..

Hey, I'm happy it's not 1600 - 2200 like some of the guys here are reporting. Damn dealers... :-)
