Auto Transmission Maintanace Parts?
My Quatro 1998 A6 had a water damage. So far I have cleared all the codes; replaced the ECU, TCU, and the fuel pump. The car starts but does not move when in gear.
Next...is to open the tranny and check what needs to be replaced.
My question is, what are the basic parts that are likely to have suffered water damage?
Thanks much

There is a small vent on top that's it
the only place water could get in.
otherwise that thing is tighter than a frogs ....
If it is not going anywhere look at the tipronic control magnets or check the tcu again for good connections and make sure you clean, blowout and apply dielectric grease to the terminals. How deep was the water???
