Default 93 Audi 100 Q cold air from heater

my wife recently passed away so now her beloved 93 100Q only gets driven once a month or so. It only has about 40K on the motor. Recently when I turned the heater on, cold air comes out but there is no fluid loss, nor does it heat up. In fact it barley gets warm at all.

anyone have a suggestion?

thanks

Does the engine warm up on the gauge? If yes, it's the heater control valve. If not, its the t-stat.

Good luck,

BOb

very sorry to hear about your wife

check the gauge like bob said, it could also be a clogged heater core

turned out that a mouse made a nest in the heater box and ate the wires. So now I need to purchase a new heater box. Mouse did not make it.
