Default 2003 A6 2.7T Brake Problem

Last week after snow, I found my brake light flashed with beeping 3 times when I was driving. I went back to dealer and they added my brake fluid, changed my both front brake boots and brake light bulbs. Yesterday, the temperature dropped and snowed again, when I made a turn, the beeping and brake light flesh came out again. I checked my brake fluid level, it is ok. What's wrong with my brake system?

thanks.

Wish I had an answer. My 2000 A6 2.7T is doing the same thing. Brakes and rotors (front and rear) are less than a year old, fluid levels are fine. I do have a loose CV boot, but have had one in the past without these warning lights coming on. So same problem, no answers.

I'm not sure about the 2003, but on the 2000 2.7 (which is what I have), you may have a bad ABS control modulator. If the ABS and Brake light comes on continuously while you are driving. Go to Modulemasters.com. The do a replacment for $168 with a 5yr warranty, but you have to remove it yourself and send it in. I did it and it works perfect. It only took 6 days to send it and get it back. It's about $900 if you go to a dealer. Good Luck.

Bad barke pad wear sensor getting shorted out by all the moisture, possibly? Does the light go out after driving for a while, say, after the pads have had a chance to warm up and evaporate any water off the pad sensor wiires?

I don't think it's moisture. It used to be an intermittant problem, but the light is on fulltime now. Prior to this, my EPC and Check Engine lights were on continuously, but since the ABS light problem started, EPC and Check Engine have not come on.

Default ABS control module

Turned out be ABS control module. Just another major repair for this crumbling car.
