On a 3900lbs+ car such as the C5 A6, Realistically how do the dampening & handling characteristics compare with say, a set of FK Streetlines or TA-Technix coilovers? I want to lower around 24"-24.5" Fender to ground on my C5 with 19x8.5's & 235/35's and expect a firm ride but I do not want to pogo stick or experience an unreasonable degree of bounciness. Daily driven, no racetracks but occasional canyon runs.

IMO ST's will handle better than an FK. I have ST's on my B6 A4 and for the price you really can't beat the handling vs ride quality. These are essentially the same coilovers as a KW V1 with very minor differences.
