I have been offered a set of coil overs from a european friend. The only thing is that they are for a Fwd C5 A6, anybody know if they will work on my Quattro?

 

The rears are different in regards to weight and height, so you could use the front and just buy rears, but you might as well just buy all new unless your getting them free

How much of a difference in spring rate are we talking about here? If I can figure out what I need I can get a quote to have new springs made.

 

The spring rate is pretty significant due to additional weight the quattro carries. I would call up a company that specializes in coilovers and either get a specific number if possible or just buy new springs designed for the rear end.
