Help replacing trans range switch on 2000 a6 2.7t
I recently got my 2000 a6 2.7t into some water launching a small boat (laugh it up I know). Pretty sure transmission range switch got wet and it's been a few days without any improvement. No D and sometimes no reverse. Blew the connector out with shop air and no change. I need to replace the switch. The top hex bolt on the drivers engine mount bracket looks like it's going to put up a fight. Any tips how to get at the bolt without removing the exhaust? I saw the post with pretty good description but I believe that was a non turbo model.
