hit a curb on my audi a6pretty hard and now feels like the steering wheel is like half way over where is should be and i can see the tire visibly pointing outward. whats the possibility i fucked this car up? it was the back passanger tire

 

Not sure why a rear wheel would cause the steering wheel to be out of whack unless you really messed up the alignment and have to compensate to go straight. I'd say something is wrong if the car is pulling and the wheel looks misaligned. Take it to an tire store and have the rim checked first -- hopefully it's just bent (and it's the cheapest thing to fix). If it's not the rim, next stop would be an alignment shop.

 

im **** scared to drive this car on the highway with snow. usually the car handles beautiful but now it just slips out on the back end and the allignment is waaayy off, i mean so off instead of the steering wheels audi sign being straight across its upside down. tierod. a-arm? anyone been through this?

 

I have never had that problem but if I were in your shoes I would have a flatbed take it to a shop that knows Audi's and have them inspect it. the last thing you want is to burn up all your tires driving the thing or worse yet cause an accident because something lets loose. the other thing I would worry about is if you caused other damage to the drive train when you hit the curb. Driving it might make it even worse.

My daughter did the same thing to a 1998 Taurus and bent the lower control arm so badly that it was undrivable above 5MPH.
You should not drive your Audi until it is completely repaired. You don't want to be driving down the road and have a wheel break loose, because of a damaged ball joint.

 

You can easily eliminate the possibility of a bad rim or tire by mounting the spare wheel, but by the sound of what you described you probably bent something...
You did not mention if your car was AWD or FWD.
Ddunham has the right idea, a flatbed appears to be your safest bet.

 

its an AWD. the tire does wobble when driving it as i told someone to watch the tire while i drove it down the road they laughed at me and said the tired wobbled funny. so most likely bent something i wish i didnt. well ill check it tomorrow

 

If the wheel wobbles, you shouldnt be driving it.

 

yea i did the same thing over the winter, only it was a front right tire. curb pushed it against the back of the wheel well so it rubbed when i drove. took it to a shop and got their opinion... they said the 2 lower control arms had to be replaced and i looked at it on the lift, they definately were bent. drove it out to my friends lift and replaced em and car drives fine now. i dont know how that works with the back wheel but you definately need to get an expert opinion if you dont know how to check it out yourself
