My 1999 2.8 Tip should be hitting 200k any day now... But in all fairness, the last 25k have been straight highway miles due to my job (2k-3k per month for the last few months).

But aside from the annoying usual stuff, it's running like a top!

I just picked up a 1999 A6 Avant Quattro with 368,000 miles on the original engine and transmission. It still turned over, but didn't run, and when I dropped the oil pan, there were some good-sized chunks of metal in there, so I'm pretty sure it's terminal. However, I just swapped in a replacement engine and transmission, so with a little luck, this Avant will live to fight another day.

2001 Audi A6 2.7L Quattro Turbo. Just turned in 201,000 miles and still runs well. Turbos are leaking oil quite a bit, but oil is cheap. Just check it every time I fuel up. Will run that puppy till the wheels fall off.

 

04 a6 2.7T Quattro S-Line with 86k mi
