Help on how to replace right rear, reversing, and fog light bulbs on 2005 A6
I can't figure out how to remove the rear right light panel to get to the bulbs to replace them? I looked around the inside surrounding area for a possible plug to pull out but can't locate it. Can someone help me out with instructions?
Thanks, Justin

Hi, I have a 2005 A6 2.7TD Quattro-UK model: there is a round plug both left and right inside the boot at the rear of the lights, once removed, there is a black plastic screw (1 only) when unscrewed there will be a threaded bolt left, if you take hold of the light fitting from the outside and prise it gently the threaded bolt should move through the hole, once you get it moving it is easy to prise out. Install in reverse order.
Hope this helps.

I hate to bring bad news, but if you are getting a dashboard warning that the various right lights are out (turn signal and brake) the LED unit has probably gone bad. It is a known problem in the C6 and the dealer has plenty of units in stock. If you look at AW you will see several threads about it. In addition, I had the problem about 6 weeks ago. Based on my own experience, as well as forum members at AW, the cost to replce the light is around $300.
