Let's hear about it! How many miles on your A6?

Rode/road hard put away wet
185K miles on my 2003 Allroad. A lot with a foot mashed in twisty roads, enough to set off all of the alarms on the dash regarding suspension and brakes. https://www.audiforums.com/forum/images/smilies/eek.gif

Great Cars
After putting 300,000 miles on my Audi 5000 I picked up a 2000 A6 2.7 in 2005. Put 330,000 miles on the 2000 (still had the original A/C compressor, clutch, and tranny running strong) and traded it in for a 2001 A6 2.7 5 speed in 2014 with 95,000 miles on it. Now 126,000 miles.
Just rented a 2017 Camary this past week. while Toyota builds great cars, I maintain my 16 and 17 year old Audi's with 126,000 miles and 330,000 miles have a better ride and feel than this new camary. And 27 to 28 MPG on the highways. Yes, every once in awhile the garage will take a bite out of your wallet but on a mileage basis, these cars are cheap to run.

A6 Avant 2.8 Quattro 2000
Regarding the heavy fuel consumption, I only have to replace the coil pack, then I've replaced everything. The car has a K&N filter charger, been de-catted, modified exhaust system AND a Unichip. Power is up to 148kw, torgue good too, but little to no improvement to fuel consumption.
I also find spare parts increasingly difficult to source and VERY EXPENSIVE from the suppliers.
I'm afraid this is my last Audi, as they are too expensive to run.
