Hi guys

I have an Audi A6 C6 Saloon on a 2006. Yesterday i was driving home from work and i drove over a puddle of water which caused big splashes to my windscreen, right there i thought i hope nothing goes wrong. However everything was fine untill i got home. After getting back in the car after a few hours i turned on the MMI and listened to some music, after a few minutes it went off to the black screen, so i turned it back on and it happened again. So now when i turn on the MMI the Audi startup screen shows for a few seconds and then the screen goes off itself. What can be the problem?

I just about caught a message before the screen went off saying " Note, An installed component is not valid, please contact an Audi workshop".

Can there be water damage? if so, where are the electrics for the MMI on these models as im sure they are not underneath the car.

Possible fuse? if so where is the MMI fuse as i cant seem to find it on either side of the dash?

A component on your fiber optic loop went out, I had the same problem with my 06 audi a6, the drivers side floor got wet frying my Bluetooth module, find the faulty module and bypass the fiber optic loop and everything besides the faulty component will work
