I've had my 2001 Audi A6 Avant for about two years now and overall I'm pretty satisfied with it. If I had to give it a grade, I would give it a solid B+.

Strong Points:

1. All-weather capability which is a prime reason I bought it to begin with. When the conditions get bad, I park my other car and drive the Audi.

2. The car is really attractive, especially for a wagon. The Ming Blue Pearl paint shows off the lines of the car pretty well, but is hard to keep clean.

3. The car is pretty comfortable, especially in winter with the heated seats. I think I finally broke in the seats to my body.

4. The ride is fairly plush and smooth.

5. The cargo capacity of the car is really good. I have it set up with the seats down and I removed the cargo net and cargo covers. This really opened up the whole back of hte car. With the flat floor loading and unloading is pretty easy.

6. Overall reliability has been pretty good. My expenses have been the timing belt/water pump replacement and replacing consumables like filters, brakes etc.

Weak Points:

1. Acceleration is adequate at best.

2. Steering is pretty numb-feeling. It doesn't really provide much feedback to the driver.

3. Handling is a bit floaty and imprecise.

4. Fuel economy is not that good.

fuel mileage isn't that great, but hey It's paid for!!!!!
