hi guys i wonder if any one can help me on this, recently i got a navigation plus system(RNS D)off ebay and i decided to install it my self.all went well the only issue am having now is that the lights on is not working and also the navi doesnt switch off when you take the keys out. i had a look at the wiring diagram and just below where it says SAFE, my guess is i need to tap onto that terminal but am not sure where to link the other end of the wire, does it go to the 12v (which is think slot 7) any way if any one has an idea would really be gratefull thanks ,
forgot to mention my a6 is on a 2001 number plate 2.5 tdi manual cvt with a symphony 11 stereo in it .
