New owner - stupid question
Just purchased a new A6 3.0 for my wife yesterday. Backing car out of garage tonight and attempted to activate reading light. There are two rubber buttons in front of actual reading light that I pressed before realizing they were not the reading light activation. They remain pressed in with no ability to depress but didn't appear to activate/deactivate any functionality in the vehicle. Does anyone know what these buttons are for? Apologies for the newbie question.

I am really sorry to say this. But you've activated the Russian roulette ejection seat system. There is now a count down now to which one of you two will be ejected from the car at any moments notice.
all kidding aside
What year is your A6, and what sub model?

Solved
Turns out they are microphones, although not identified in the owners manual. Cannot understand why the Audi engineers thought this was a good idea. Should you ever be able to press something in the cabin the breaks upon touch? Took it to the dealer and voice commands continue to work, but I cannot understand the concept of this design. Rubber buttons remain depressed but mics work. Otherwise, extremley happy with the purchase.
