Hi all..

Hopefully you chaps can offer some advice as im stuck,

I purchased a A6 quattro,3lt le mans 2008

On the way home the Exhaust system light came on the dash. I took it back to the dealer (not audi) and after some tests they said it was the usual Bank 2 manifold flap not reaching limit..

They orderd a new set of arms that control the flap and this worked for about a week and the light came back.

Again i took it back and we aggreed to go halfs on a set of reinforced remanufactored manifolds from Germany.

They came was fitted and it was fine for about 4 weeks, this morning however the light came back on..

Im gutted the dealer now wont help as he says ive had it for so many months and this is what can happen when you purchase a 2nd hand car.

What can i do ?

 

Can you provide scanned codes and exact engine specs? I guess 3lt means the 3.0 liter gas (petrol) engine, but not sure.
