Hi guys

Looking for some info, i have had my a6 08 plate 2tdi for about 10 months. A couple months ago the low engine oil light came on, the car is due a service soon so i did a oil service.
1 month later i was on the motorway and the the low engine oil light came on, i stopped waited a few minutes and oil seems ok, no oil leaks

Im hoping a sensor fault, any ideas?

What does this light look like? Is it flashing and it's red?

Its just the oil canister light its yellow and in sure is said check oil level? It does not flash. No loss in performance, i checked oil this morning seems ok did a 45 min journey iust now seemed ok again, but yestersay was constant on motorway..
