This is what the mechanic told me he tested it and the pressure was at 4.0 for the low pressure fuel pump and he says i also need control module for the fuel pump. This is only from the code and some snap-on tool he put on it. I don't trust this guy at all i don't have many options its the dealer or him.

Here is what i know so far he says it is the low pressure fuel pump along withe the module.
My question is where is this fuel pump? where is the high pressure fuel pump? Do i really need a module or this guy just trying his best to rip me off here!
This is the module

And i am not sure i am asking if this is the fuel pump?

For those people who might need help with this code I found someone got a VCDS scan on the car and found out it is the low pressure fuel pump which is located in the tank not the high pressure fuel pump which is located on the engine.

It's good to know what system is reporting the error - no doubt. However consider all the pieces that play together to get the fuel delivered. Anything from the low pressure fuel pump in the tank, to the fuel filter, to the Regulator, module - even the sensor for the high pressure fuel pump could cause the error.
I wouldn't jump immediately to the LP or HPFP as this is one of the more costly replacements (if you include labor).

If you still have access to VAG-COM run a series of tests on the fuel system and see if you can pinpoint where the pressure drops as well as sensor data. Most of the time you can find a faulty sensor by looking and real/vs output readings. "Unfortunately" I've never actually done this before but if you Google it there are several threads with VAG-COM gurus advising how to perform these tests to isolate the issue. If you had bought the VAG-COM cable I would say even contact Rosstech as their techs are bad *** when it comes to using and troubleshooting with their software.
