hello gents from stateside..... yes a yank with another car problem I suppose!

2006 Audi A6 4.2L quattro S Line 85k miles second owner.

cold start up no problems until gets up to temperature, no matter sitting in a parking lot or cruising at 80mph BIG P with a line through it, 4 beeps, Parking Brake Malfunction!! As well as triggering the ESP/ABS and red BRAKE lights all on at the same time and will intermittantly turn off and on throughout the day as I turn the car on and off, sometimes they go away but ALWAYS come back, mostly on and CONSTANT BEEPS!!

Please help, had local cheater.... i mean dealership pull codes and it pulled 1420 and 1316 any ideas??

 

Sounds similar to a problem I had, I removed my abs module and had it sent in for repair, ($250) solved all the problems except I still have an ongoing "parking brake malfunction" even though the parking brake works just fine. Should fix the beeping and the abs and brake light though. Search "parking brake malfunction" and my old thread should come up with the details of my problem and what I did.
