Removing front ABS speed sensors

RE: Removing front ABS speed sensors
The newer ones are a little bolt/ screw, but I think you might still be on the old style. Anyway, look at it and see if there is a little bolt and remove it if there is. Then, what I use is a pair of vice grips and a cloth to not damage the heck out of it. Clamp tightly. Twist gently side to side and don't damage the wire or the head. It should just slide out but sometimes Audi cannot even get um out with out destroying them. THey told me that, but the vice grips method worked. You should clean them and then wipe them off with an oily rag (not soak them down, just get a little slip to it.) They are supposed to be cleaned frequently.

True, my own that was bad I beat the crap out of it getting it out with the vicegrips it was kind of the test sensor, after that i started using the rag to protect the head. But if he just wants to clean them :-)
