Default Rough idle

Hi all. I recently tried to run my A6 4.2l after storing it through the winter and it idles really bad. The check engine light flashes and there's water dripping from the exhaust. I installed new ignition coils and spark plugs last summer before i stored it so i doubt that those would be an issue. Any leads as to what i should look for?

Probably there is water in the tank from condensation and the fuel started breaking down. Did you store it with a full tank and a gas stabilizer or Seafoam?

I have about 3/4 gas in it but no stabilizer or seafoam. Should i drain the gas out?

I would at least add some dry gas and top it off as much as possible with fresh fuel, or drain the tank and add new gas after.
