Should i part or sell my C5 A6 project?
I have an 2000 A6 2.7T that i've been working on for the past couple years. I barely have time and just want to buy an C6 A6 or A8. but need to get rid of my old one.
Just upgraded turbos to K04's and whole front control arm kit. Bought new fenders. Car runs and drives but is in slow mode (epc) with oil light on. Haven't driven it further than around the block though.
Car was in an accident, replaced a ton of parts and ran fine for about a year. Still need to replace front bumper, hood, and fix rear quarter panel.
Car was in EPC mode with oil in intake, so figured blown turbos (140k miles). Replaced with K04's myself so could of easily forgot something.
Car then was left outside where water flooded drivers floorboard and ruined the central convience module. Also there was some mold damage, which i cleaned most of it off. and the windows are stuck down.
I would like to get around $3000 for it but i'm not sure if I can just sell the project in whole or if I should part some out and junk the rest.

Wow - I salute your attempt and hard work...
I'm not sure how much how can get for the car - I just bought my A6 a couple of months ago for $2,200 - more mileage, but in near perfect condition with everything done by the same dealer ($$$) it's whole life. So maybe parting it out would be the way to go, if you have the time / space to store the car while you do it.
If the engine is in good condition with new K04s it might be worth a lot to someone with a blown engine. Depending on the wheels/tires on it I might be interested in them...

Parting the car will be a realllllly slow process. If you can yank that engine out sell it on eBay for around 1.5-2k with the ko4 you should be easily able to get minimum 1000. Same with the tranny. Other stuff wot get you much money.
Put the car on eBay as whole and Craigslist give that a shot. If in a month or two you get no response part it.
